Meet The Team

Founder and Clinical Director

Dr. Nolan Gallagher, DC

My patients typically just call me “Dr. G.”

My path to Keel started with 12 years as an officer in the Coast Guard. The military taught me what it means to show up, day after day, for the people around you. When I was ready for a new challenge, I wanted to put that same drive into helping people get past the physical roadblocks keeping them from what they love. That led me to Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus, where I came to see the adjustment as a true craft, one that looks different in every practitioner’s hands and keeps getting sharper with every patient.

Before opening Keel, I treated patients in high-volume clinics across Jacksonville. It was a great proving ground, and it showed me how much chiropractic can do for anyone willing to give it a shot. It also showed me what’s broken in modern healthcare: rushed appointments, treating symptoms instead of causes, and quick fixes for complex problems.

We believe care should be built on trust, earned over time. That means real conversations, focused hands-on work, and a plan that fits the person in front of us, with a team that shares the same standard under one roof. The goal is always the same: get you back to doing what you love, and needing us less along the way.

Off the Clock: Nocatee is home. My wife Justine (a talented wedding florist) and I welcomed our first baby this fall, and life has never been fuller. When I’m not at the clinic, I’m usually getting dragged around by our Doberman, Jetty, or “trying” to undo 20 years of baseball mechanics to hit a golf ball straight. I live the same active life I help my patients protect, and I’d be honored to help you protect yours.

Clinic Manager

Briana McDuffie

I’m Briana — if you’ve called, emailed, or walked through our doors, there’s a good chance we’ve already met. I’m the Clinic Manager at Keel, which around here means I’m a little bit of everything: your patient coordinator, the person keeping the schedule (and the whole clinic) running, and the one behind most of the content you see from us.

Before Keel, I served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman. I graduated high school a year early so I could enlist at 17, and I finished my service right here at NAS Jacksonville. The Navy taught me how to stay organized, stay calm under pressure, and take care of people — skills I use every single day here.

Health and movement have honestly always been my world. My mom is a professional ballroom dancer, so I grew up surrounded by dance, fitness, and the belief that how you move shapes how you live. Joining a team built on that exact philosophy felt like coming home.

Off the Clock – Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me at the gym, out walking my dog Tilly, or at the beach — ideally all three in one day. I’m also a proud cat mom to Avaya, who very much runs the household.

Fun fact: I’m the oldest of eight sisters, so keeping a busy clinic organized basically feels like a quieter version of home.

LICENSED ATHLETIC TRAINER

Joselyne Gonzalez, MS, LAT, ATC

My name is Joselyne “Josy” Gonzalez, and I am a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Florida with a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida. Originally from Panama City, Panama, I moved to South Florida during my teenage years, where my passion for health, fitness, and rehabilitation first began.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University and spent four years working at a private physical therapy clinic in South Florida as both the Head Personal Trainer and Front Office Manager. In 2023, I relocated to Jacksonville to further my career and pursue graduate school, graduating from UNF in May 2025 with my Master’s Degree in Athletic Training. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for over seven years, helping individuals improve strength, mobility, performance, and overall quality of life. I also hold a certification through Barbell Rehab Method, an evidence-based program focused on bridging the gap between strength training and rehabilitation.

I currently work with the dance students at Jacksonville University as their Athletic Trainer, supporting them with injury prevention, recovery, performance care, and rehabilitation. As an Athletic Trainer, I enjoy working with athletes of all backgrounds, including dancers, baseball and football athletes, pickleball players, and everyday “weekend warriors.” While I have a special passion for performing arts athletes, I welcome and enjoy working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels.

Off the Clock – Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, Pilates, and strength training. A few fun facts about me: right after finding out I had been accepted into UNF, I decided to backpack through Europe solo for two weeks before officially moving to Jacksonville. I am also a proud dog and cat mom to my miniature dachshund, Toolsy Roll, and my tuxedo cat, Cookie Crumble.
